Anti-Fraud Policy

Last updated: April 2025

1. Introduction

Shina Music Entertainment is committed to maintaining a fair and transparent ecosystem for all artists, labels, and rights holders on our platform. This Anti-Fraud Policy outlines our stance on fraudulent activity, including but not limited to artificial stream manipulation, fake plays, bot traffic, and any other form of dishonest behavior designed to inflate streaming numbers or royalty earnings.

All streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and others) actively monitor and remove fraudulent streams. Detected fraud may result in permanent removal of your content from all platforms.

2. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on Shina Music Entertainment:

  • Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to generate artificial streams, plays, or downloads
  • Purchasing streams, plays, followers, or playlist placements from third-party services
  • Encouraging or incentivizing others to stream your music repeatedly in exchange for compensation
  • Manipulating streaming platform algorithms through coordinated or fake listener activity
  • Uploading music you do not own or have rights to distribute
  • Using fake or misrepresented metadata (artist names, ISRC codes, UPC barcodes)
  • Creating multiple accounts to bypass platform restrictions or multiply royalty payouts
  • Any form of click fraud, ad fraud, or revenue manipulation

3. Detection & Monitoring

We use a combination of automated systems and manual review to detect suspicious activity. Our monitoring includes:

  • Real-time stream pattern analysis and anomaly detection
  • Audio fingerprinting to identify duplicate or unauthorized content
  • Cross-platform royalty and stream data reconciliation
  • IP address and device fingerprint analysis
  • Collaboration with streaming platforms' own fraud detection systems

Streaming platforms regularly conduct their own audits and share fraud reports with distributors. Any fraudulent streams identified are removed from your royalty calculations retroactively.

4. Consequences of Fraud

If fraudulent activity is detected on your account or content, we will take immediate action which may include:

  • Immediate suspension of payouts pending investigation
  • Removal of the affected release from all streaming platforms
  • Permanent termination of your account without refund
  • Withholding of all earnings associated with fraudulent streams
  • Reporting of the activity to streaming platforms, which may result in blacklisting
  • Legal action where applicable under applicable law

Shina Music Entertainment reserves the right to withhold and forfeit any royalties earned through fraudulent means. Accounts found in violation will be permanently banned.

5. Your Responsibilities

By using Shina Music Entertainment, you agree to:

  • Only distribute music that you own or have the legal right to distribute
