Content Policy
Last updated: January 1, 2026
This Content Policy sets out what may and may not be distributed through Shina Music Entertainment. It exists to protect artists, rights holders, and listeners.
Rights Requirements
You must own or have valid licenses for every element of your release — master recording, composition, samples, features, artwork, and any third-party material.
Prohibited Content
- Unauthorized cover songs without a mechanical license.
- Unlicensed samples, karaoke tracks, or soundalikes.
- Hateful, discriminatory, or violent content targeting protected groups.
- Content that sexualizes minors or promotes illegal activity.
- Releases with misleading titles, artist names, or metadata.
- Silence, noise, or non-musical audio designed to game streaming.
Explicit Content
Releases containing explicit lyrics must be marked as such. Failure to properly tag explicit content may result in removal.
Metadata Standards
Titles, artist names, and credits must be accurate and follow DSP formatting guidelines. Featured artists must be tagged correctly and split-credited.
Enforcement
Violations may result in takedown, withheld royalties, or account termination. Repeated violations will result in a permanent ban.
